Our Staff

Julie Penta, Lead Pastor

Pastor Julie loves the privilege of being the Lead Pastor at The Grove Church! Preaching most Sundays, leading small groups, developing people in their leadership, and coaching an awesome staff are just some of the things that make her job so awesome. She received a degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005 and was ordained in 2007.

Pastor Julie loves the town of Fort Collins and all it has to offer. We are excited to announce that she recently got hitched to Joseph Penta, (she would like to interject that he is pretty wonderful!) Her and her husband are pretty active and can be found taking care of their yard, hiking, rock climbing, snow shoeing, and walking their little white dog, Lila.

Tyler Manzella, Associate Pastor

Tyler grew up in Colorado and Wyoming and loves being active in the outdoors. His passion lies in seeing people grow in their faith and assisting them in any way he can. Having great discussions and asking tough questions about faith fuel his passion and his love to get to know people. Tyler graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2010 with a degree in Pastoral Ministry and went on to earn his Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Wesley Seminary. He is currently on the track to being ordained in the Wesleyan Church.

Tyler married his high school sweetheart, Lauren and together they have two dogs, Gwen and Lucy, who keep them busy and provide comic relief. They love spending time with people, traveling, and having new adventures. Both Lauren and Tyler have fallen in love with Fort Collins and are very excited to be a part of The Grove community.

Nikole Stevenson, Associate Pastor

Nikole Stevenson grew up in Estes Park and now lives in Loveland with her husband, Chris, and her Border Golden Retriever, Zipporah. She has a passion for worship ministry and music, and currently is a vocalist learning to play guitar. She also has an avid love for sharks and hopes to see shark finning and overfishing become a thing of the past. Nikole was ordained in 2016 by the Wesleyan denomination. She is also a property manager for a local apartment complex.
Jenslee Blume, Children's Director
Jenslee spent her high school years in St. George, Utah. She was very active in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and found her passion for teaching. In 2015 she moved to Fort Collins and started getting involved in The Grove.  It was here that Jenslee started to discover other possibilities of teaching - the bible and God's love. In July of 2016, Jenslee accepted her call into ministry. She is currently going to Front Range Community College with the intention of transferring to Oklahoma Wesleyan University's online ministry program.

Jenslee has such a passion for Fort Collins and its immense beauty. She enjoys hiking, going to the dog park, and spending time with her friends and family.
